Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist (PCA) This warns the driver if a collision risk is detected while reversing. If the risk increases even after the warning, it helps to automatically stop the vehicle.
Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA)This enables the driver to control the forward/backward functions remotely from outside the vehicle via the key fob. Drivers can control the vehicle from outside the vehicle via the key fob to move forwards or backwards to enter/exit a parking space.
Surround View Monitor (SVM)4 HD cameras mounted on the front, sides, and rear of the vehicle show the surroundings in real time.

New Body Platform
A new, next-generation platform has been applied to the Santa Fe, maximizing vehicle stability and creating more cargo space and legroom in the second and third rows. The new platform also brings with it significant improvements in collision safety, thanks to the increased usage of Advanced High-Strength Steel and hot stamping.

Hybrid / Plug-in Hybrid
SUVs require SUV-specific hybrid systems. That’s why Santa Fe uses an exclusive hybrid system, applying parts that deliver increased power to provide optimal driving and braking performance, as well as high fuel efficiency. A reallocated battery space also creates more room in the second row and cargo area.
Hybrid
In order to achieve optimal hybrid performance on an SUV, an exclusive TMED (Transmission Mounted Electric Device) type was applied to the Santa Fe. This enhances the PE parts’ capacity, improving the output power and performance of the electric motor. The system also efficiently controls the vehicle by selecting EV mode or turning on/off the engine/ motor accordingly, to enhance fuel economy.
Plug-in Hybrid Santa Fe’s PHEV boasts high-capacity batteries and enhanced motor power, offering a wide range of drive options and longer distances in electric mode. The powerful 13.8kWh battery and 66.9kW motor can also quickly switch from all-electric to the hybrid gasoline engine when sudden acceleration is needed or in an emergency, offering uncompromised driving pleasure and safety.
